Locate Missing People
Have you ever tried looking for someone and you really don’t have any idea where to find him? It seems that you already check all the possible places where he/she could be, and yet the person you’re looking for is still not there. And what are the chances that you can locate the person you are looking for? You spent a lot of time searching and asking for information and clues. But you still don’t know the assurance that you can find the person you’re looking for. There is also that feeling that you wanted to give up because you tired and helpless. I used to work before in an orphanage, and we have 125 children in the village. I admit that there are some instances that you need to look for that youth because it was reported that he escaped. It may be in the morning, afternoon, or sometimes in the middle of the night. Some of the youth likes to do it for fun, or sometimes because of their different backgrounds and where they come from they escaped to show that they want to rebel or they don’t want to obey the rules and regulation.
What I do to find them is first I go to the places where they usually hangout or play, like the internet café, classmate’s house, school, market, and some other places where they could be. I also try to ask information to some of their closest friends or people who happen to see them on that day. There was this one time that I tried to search the cemetery, because someone gave me the information that some of the youth are hiding inside the said cemetery. So what I did is I carried our biggest flashlight and went inside the cemetery. And let me tell you that it was around 2:00 o’clock in the morning, my head was a bit heavy that night and I was still sleepy during that time but I need to open my eyes in order to find what I am looking for. Just for fun I pretended to be a detective on a mission, looking for clues and traces of their marks.
I can really say locating a missing or “escaped” person is quite challenging. But it’s also fun in a way, because it brings out the dream of being a detective when you were a kid. Remember playing Private Detective and trying to find a person?
